In the past 12 years we had very successful NCKU North America Alumni Conventions at Chicago (1997), Atlantic City (1999), San Francisco (2001), Houston (2003), Washington, DC (2005), and Los Angels (2007). One of the highlights in the Conventions was to recognize outstanding alumni award and unsung hero/heroine award recipients. The Alumni Association is again preparing to select outstanding alumni and unsung hero/heroin alumni members who have made outstanding achievement or made remarkable contribution to the alumni association and demonstrated his exemplary leadership and dedication. The award recipients will be recognized during the 2009 Biennial Convention to be held in Chicago on August 6-8, 2009. The award ceremony is always a prestigious event for the awardees and their families, and we will also share the glory and contribution they made to the Association.
